registered capital compared to that in the same period; business registration
was granted to about 620 branches/representative offices/business locations.
Besides, there were 330 enterprises completed dissolution procedures,
terminated business production activities; 500 temporarily ceased enterprises
and 350 re-operation enterprises
By the end of 2021, the province had about 8,200 registered enterprises
with an average registered capital of 12.5 billion VND per enterprise.

6. Results of production of the economic sectors

Agriculture, forestry and fishery

In 2021, the production of cereal reached 683,136 tons, an increase of
19,471 tons, in comparison with that in 2020, of which paddy production
reached 638,065 tons, an increase of 20,792 tons (Winter-spring paddy
production reached 341,472 tons, an increase of 2,524 tons; summer-autumn
paddy production reached 266,483 tons, an increase of 20,508 tons; production
of the main crop reached 30,110 tons, a decline of 2,240 tons).

Production of buffalo live-weight in 2021 reached 1,781 tons, an increase
of 2.7%, in comparison with that in 2020; production of cattle live-weight
reached 36,179 tons, an increase of 2.3%; production of pig live-weight
reached 119,531 tons, an increase of 1.1%; production of poultry live-weight
reached 24,165 tons, an increase of 8.3%.

In 2021, the area of newly concentrated forest reached 17,395 hectares,
an increase of 1.5%, in comparison with that in 2020, of which production
forest reached 17,084 hectares; protection forest reached 277 hectares; special-

used forest reached 34 hectares. Wood production reached 1,495,251 m , an
increase of 2.9%, in comparison with that in 2020; firewood production

reached 548,650 ster, a decline of 1.8%; bamboo harvested reached 1,588
thousand trees, an increase of 1.4%; conical leaves reached 1,992 thousand
leaves, an increase of 5.1%.
In 2021, fishery production reached 269,382 tons, an increase of 2.1%, in
comparison with that in 2020. Of which: aquaculture production reached

12,519 tons, an increase of 8.8%; fishery capturing production reached 256,863
tons, an increase of 1.8%, in comparison with that in the same period last year.
